Senior Consultant

I am often asked, “Why an MBA after Law?” My answer is simple: I wanted to understand not just the practice of law, but the business of law.

I am a marketer by profession and a lawyer at heart. Today, as a Senior Consultant at Legal League Consulting, I stand at the intersection of these two worlds, helping law firms transition from traditional practices to professionally managed, high-growth institutions.

My management journey didn’t start in the legal sector. It began in the high-stakes world of corporate operations at EXL. I was selected as one of only 14 candidates from India’s top B-Schools for a coveted Management Trainee program – a rigorous leadership track that gave me direct exposure to top management and cross-functional strategy.

This experience was my training ground. It taught me the importance of governance, process migration, and operational efficiency at a global scale.

I realised that the Indian legal sector was ripe for this kind of structural discipline. I pivoted to consulting to bring that “Big Business” efficiency to law firms. At Legal League Consulting, I don’t just advise; I execute. I leverage my dual background (Law + MBA) to design solutions that respect the nuances of the legal profession while driving commercial success.

Currently, I partner with Law Firm Partners and Founders to solve critical challenges, focusing on:

  • Global Recognition: Managing complex submissions for legal directories like Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 to ensure firms get the rankings they deserve.
  • Strategic HR: Replacing ad-hoc hiring with structured performance management systems, review frameworks, and retention strategies.
  • Brand Identity: Helping firms articulate their unique value proposition to attract better clients and talent.

I am deeply passionate about the evolution of the Indian legal market. If you are a lawyer looking to build a business or a student navigating this path, I’d love to connect.
